Canon seems to have updated their W8400 and W6400 drivers on their site:

Currently, there is question about whether these are only for Windows 98/ME. Stay Tuned. |

About the driver update for Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard). First, the dealer said it was updated this week. And I downloaded it, but couldn't try it at a friend's place yet. But today, I got the news that the update was for the IPF 5000/6000 etc. series, not the W8400/ etc. Said we had to wait until mid May this year 2008. Evidently, Canon is a PC-oriented software programming outfit. No wonder their driver is so darn clunky in selecting paper and feed input!
